In a class by its own. The 53 is not a rilfe since the barrel is so short but no a submachinegun because it is 223. Anyway it is fun and fast. This was a HK 33 that was converted to a HK 53. It is a pre 86 dealers sample. In very good condition and works great. Comes with a 40rd mag. $7900
